Developing East Arnhem Limited (DEAL) is an independent not-for-profit organisation established to facilitate investment and economic development opportunities in East Arnhem between Yolŋu Traditional Owners, local organisations and businesses, governments, and investors.
Situated in Nhulunbuy, DEAL works across the East Arnhem region and is uniquely positioned to drive development and investment opportunities.
Murra Partners, in close collaboration with Developing East Arnhem Limited (DEAL), is seeking a dynamic and culturally grounded Business Analyst to help identify, develop and deliver on diversified economic development opportunities for East Arnhem.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a capable and purpose-driven Business Analyst (2–4 years' experience) to apply strong research and analytical skills in support of long-term investment and growth across Yolŋu country.
Your role will include:

Gathering and analysing regional socio-economic and business data

Providing briefings, presentations and reports to inform strategy

Supporting economic opportunity modelling across diverse sectors

Engaging with government, investors, Aboriginal businesses and community leaders
-
Helping to map and accelerate East Arnhem's transition from mining to a diversified economy
Your Key Responsibilities:

Conduct economic and social research to inform investment decisions

Present findings in reports, briefings and interactive dashboards

Collaborate with diverse internal teams and external stakeholders
-
Work across infrastructure, enterprise, tourism and other emerging sectors
What You’ll bring:

Degree-qualified in business, economics or similar

Experience working with public datasets and analytical platforms
