Corporate Services Manager

Location: Barngarla Country - Port Augusta, South Australia

About the Role: Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation (KAC) RNTBC is seeking an experienced Corporate Services Manager to oversee and enhance our corporate services functions, including financial operations, human resources, information technology and administration. Reporting to the General Manager, Finance & Risk, this full-time permanent role is integral to the smooth operation and strategic growth of KAC. The role is based in Port Augusta with the option to work from the Adelaide office from time-to-time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and People Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and development of the corporate services team. Lead and mentor staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, manage external service providers, and ensure quality and value for outsourced services.

  • Operational and Financial Management: Manage financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general bookkeeping. Oversee asset management, document and records management, and administrative support.

  • Compliance: Develop and implement policies and procedures, ensure WH&S and IT cybersecurity protocols, and maintain compliance with legislation and standards.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in corporate services management in a small/medium business environment.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Success in leading organisational change and working effectively with Indigenous staff and members.

  • Strong knowledge of Finance, HR, IT, and administration functions, with competency in Microsoft Office and Xero.

  • Personal qualities of high motivation, discretion, and integrity.

Desirable:

  • Management qualifications and/or CA/CPA qualifications.

  • Experience in working with Aboriginal corporations or communities.

Licences & Clearances:

  • National police clearance (essential).

  • Current Driver's Licence.
